Internship Opportunity in The Hague, Netherlands
Are you passionate about communication and refugee issues? UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is offering a six to eight-month internship within the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Services at our office in The Hague, Netherlands. This internship provides a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in communication, fundraising, and campaigns, supporting UNHCR’s private sector fundraising efforts in the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging thematic content tailored to Dutch audiences, including copywriting, video editing, and Photoshop.
- Assist in content management across various platforms such as websites, social media, and email.
- Research and gather compelling UNHCR content for donor reports.
- Provide administrative support to the Communication Associate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or current student in a relevant field such as Communication Sciences, Journalism, or Marketing Communication.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, with advanced writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of digital media and content management systems.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe Premiere is an advantage.
- Genuine desire to learn and adapt, with strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset.
- Support for UNHCR’s mission and standing with refugees.
Location and Conditions:
- The internship is based in The Hague, Netherlands, with the possibility of teleworking from home.
- Initial 6-month agreement with the possibility of extension up to 8 months.
- Full-time role (40 hours per week) with flexible working hours.
- Paid internship as per UNHCR policy.
