Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA 2024)
The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA) presents a valuable research training opportunity tailored for international undergraduate and Master’s students. This program entails engaging in a research project spanning from two to six months alongside esteemed researchers at A*STAR’s Research Entities. Participants will receive a stipend of 2,000 Singaporean Dollars to support their living and miscellaneous expenses during the program.
This internship caters to students pursuing degrees in Computing and Information Science, Biomedical Science, Physical Science, or related engineering disciplines. SIPGA Projects:
The research opportunities under SIPGA are categorized into four domains:
- Biomedical Sciences (BMS)
- Physical Sciences (PS)
- Computing and Information Sciences (CIT)
- Engineering and Technology (E&T)
Eligibility:
- Open to international students
- 3rd and 4th-year undergraduates and master’s students from overseas universities pursuing STEM courses
- Demonstrated academic excellence
- Must maintain enrollment at their home university during the internship period
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong inclination towards a research-oriented career
Benefits:
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of S$2,000 to support their participation in the program.
