Job Description:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for implementing various human resources programs and managing a range of HR tasks. This includes employee on-boarding, organising training and development initiatives, promoting HR programs for an efficient workplace, and maintaining employee records and files.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct employee on-boarding and organise training & development initiatives
– Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise
– Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
– Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
– Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
– Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organising team building activities
– Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements:
– Candidate must be between 16-24 years of age and on, or have applied for, Universal Credit
– Strong communication skills (phone, email, in-person)
– Excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to prioritise important projects
– Knowledge of office policies and procedures
– Strong written and oral communication skills
– Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
– Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
– Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
– Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
– Aptitude in problem-solving
– Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
