Job Description:
The PM Paid Internship Program is a paid internship initiative undertaken by the Government of Pakistan for students and graduates to gain practical experience after their studies. The internship program will provide an opportunity for unemployed youth in Pakistan to work and gain experience across various sectors.
The program aims to decrease the unemployment rate in Pakistan and increase the employment rate in Pakistan.
The internship program has two components: BSIP (Build for skills internship program) and WSIP (Work for skills internship program). The duration of the program is 6 months to 1 year and it is open to every unemployed citizen of Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
Interns will work in the public, private and development sectors to gain hands-on experience and knowledge about how these organisations work. The program aims to fill educational gaps, polish marketable skills and enhance the interns’ abilities to work.
Interns will get paid a stipend of Rs. 2,5000 to 40,000 monthly and learn skills that will prepare them to enter the job market. Applicants with good academic backgrounds will be given preference.
