Responsibilities:
Examples of NERA’s work involve evaluations of climate change and energy policies, assessment of economic impacts, auction design and simulation, competitor analysis, pricing systems, and preparation of expert reports on economic and finance issues in litigation and international arbitration proceedings.

Opportunities for Interns:
NERA provides a unique opportunity for interns to gain invaluable experience in economic consulting by working on real cases and collaborating with internationally-recognized experts.

Intern Responsibilities:
Interns will work on real cases and may conduct literature and data research, perform conceptual analysis, manage and clean data, analyze data, interpret results, and participate in drafting reports, memoranda, presentations, and other work products.

Requirements:
To become an intern at NERA, you must be studying Economics and in your final year of undergraduate studies, or a current Master’s or PhD student in Economics, ideally in your penultimate year.

You must enjoy microeconomics and quantitative research, be comfortable working in Excel, Stata, R, Python, or other quantitative software platforms, have strong attention to detail and be able to think analytically and critically, and have strong communication skills in English. Fluency in another language is useful but not essential. You must be able to work effectively both individually and in teams.
