Internship Details:
Eager to kick-start your career journey? Seize the opportunity to intern with UNIDO at our Tokyo-based Investment and Technology Promotion Office (GLO/ITP/JPN). As an intern, you’ll gain invaluable insights into UNIDO’s operations, working closely with seasoned professionals on diverse projects.
Your role will encompass:
- Assisting in organizing investment and technology promotion events.
- Supporting the registration and promotion of sustainable technologies through ITPO Tokyo’s platforms.
- Conducting research on investment climates and technology needs in developing countries.
- Contributing to PR and advocacy initiatives, including social media engagement and content creation.
Qualifications and Skills:
To qualify for this internship opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum age of 20 years.
- Enrollment in a university degree program or recent graduate.
- Field of study in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional UN languages and Japanese is advantageous.
Requirements:
- Commitment to a full-time, unpaid internship lasting between three to six months.
- Ability to cover all associated costs, including visa, travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Experiential learning under the supervision of ITPO Expert & Deputy Head, Donor Relations.
- Engagement in core office functions and specific assignments, such as event organization, technology promotion, research, and advocacy support.
