Climate change and environmental degradation pose immense threats to children globally, jeopardizing progress in child development and survival. Despite being the least responsible, children bear the brunt of these impacts. UNICEF is dedicated to fostering societal change for children to live in a sustainable, safe environment.
Under the supervision of the Programme Specialist (UNICEF), the YELL internship supports crucial tasks essential for the success of YELL’s programs.

How You Can Make a Difference:
- Assist with knowledge management, database management, and report reviews.
- Aid in content creation for YELL’s platforms, documenting projects and environmental efforts.
- Support event management, planning webinars, campaigns, and workshops.
- Conduct research and analysis, presenting findings in reports or communication materials.
Interns showing promise will have opportunities for increased responsibilities, initiatives, and speaking engagements, aligning with YELL’s objectives.
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from relevant fields.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Familiarity with web management and graphic design preferred.
- Previous relevant experience desired.
- No immediate relatives working in UNICEF.
Internship Conditions:
- Provided with UNICEF laptop and email account.
- Expected to work in Putrajaya office 3 days/week, KL office 1 day/week, and remotely.
- Application requires submission of 3 past work samples showcasing analytical and creative abilities.
