Internship Opportunity: Summer Social Media Intern

The Wilson Center’s External Relations department is offering an exciting opportunity for a Summer Social Media Intern. This position is ideal for enthusiastic individuals seeking hands-on experience in social media management within a prestigious organization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Digital team to develop and execute campaigns
• Craft compelling social media content, including graphics and videos
• Assist in event promotion and support communications team
• Analyze social media metrics to generate insights
• Additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program, or accepted into an advanced degree program
• Demonstrated interest or experience in social media/marketing
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with the Wilson Center’s mission and operations
• Ability to thrive in a nonpartisan work environment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Facebook, X (Formerly Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, Buffer, or similar tools
• Experience in content creation, including graphic design and video production

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premier and/or CapCut
• Experience with social media analytics
• Previous involvement in nonpartisan settings
