Internship Opportunity: Summer Social Media Intern

The Wilson Center’s External Relations department is offering an exciting opportunity for a Summer Social Media Intern. This position is ideal for enthusiastic individuals seeking hands-on experience in social media management within a prestigious organization.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Digital team to develop and execute campaigns
- Craft compelling social media content, including graphics and videos
- Assist in event promotion and support communications team
- Analyze social media metrics to generate insights
- Additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program, or accepted into an advanced degree program
- Demonstrated interest or experience in social media/marketing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with the Wilson Center’s mission and operations
- Ability to thrive in a nonpartisan work environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Facebook, X (Formerly Twitter), Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, Buffer, or similar tools
- Experience in content creation, including graphic design and video production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in video editing software like Adobe Premier and/or CapCut
- Experience with social media analytics
- Previous involvement in nonpartisan settings
