Girls Education Support internship focuses on promoting girls’ education and presents a one-of-a-kind chance to assist bright and gifted teenagers at leadership academies in Tanzania. Interns collaborate with these girls on an individual basis, establishing strong connections while also providing educational support.
As a Girls Empowerment intern, you’ll be involved in leadership academies for bright girls aged 13-18 from diverse backgrounds. The primary objective of these academies is to further enrich their development and assist them in achieving their goals. You will act as mentors in three key areas: academic, personal, and social development.

Eligibility Requirements:

– High School graduates aged 18+ may be accepted, depending on the strength of their application (including any relevant experience, with a desire to learn and grow within this field).

Intern Responsibilities:
As an intern, you’ll be paired with specific girls and conduct 1-2 online mentoring sessions per week to provide tailored support. These sessions are designed to be conversations rather than lessons and typically run for 1-2 hours. You’ll communicate with the girls via email or WhatsApp during the week to track their progress and determine the nature of each session.
