The Leadership Intern will work closely with the Camp Marbles leadership team to ensure that all campers have an enjoyable time during their stay at the summer camp. The intern will assist in monitoring camp activities, interacting with campers, and supporting daily set up and clean-up. Responsibilities:
The Leadership Intern’s primary responsibilities will include providing support to the Marbles staff, supervising campers during play time, implementing engaging activities for campers, and supporting behind-the-scenes operations to ensure that the camp runs smoothly. The intern will also be responsible for compiling and posting photos of campers and supporting Check-In/Check-Out for Teen Play Corps working in programs.
Criteria and Requirements:
Applicants should have experience working with children, and a passion for outdoor activities. The intern must be capable of working in a fast-paced and stimulating environment, have excellent communication skills, and be a quick learner. The intern must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and should be pursuing a degree in early childhood education or a related field.
The internship will require the intern to work either an 8:30-1:00 or 1:00-5:30 shift, for a total of 10-15 hours per week on average. This is an unpaid internship.
